Lyra felt nauseated, and sincerely hoped that the feeling would pass soon. This was part of why people treated her like a freak, and why most people took the rumours as a given; it was hard to deny you were a Werewolf when you vanished from the Gryffindor dormitory every full moon without fail, and seemed to get ill as the full moon approached.
She really hated spells like these, because it was bad enough that she had to change into a wolf a the full moon. During the rest of the month, shouldn't she be able to live at least somewhat normally, without having to stop for things like this.
Lyra leaned against Eadric, resting her head on his shoulder, and felt him put his arm around her shoulders. When some people felt sick they wanted a parent, but Lyra had always wanted Eadric, even when they were kids. And its not like he could catch what she had. She didn't like the vulnerable feeling, and she always felt so much younger when she was sick.
Lyra closed her eyes, hoping that would help, and heard Theo apologising. She shook her head, saying "Its fine, Theo, really, it'll pass in a moment." She didn't want Theo to think it was his fault, even if his argument with Eadric had brought it on (and she didn't know if it even had). Lyra didn't want anyone to feel like they needed to treat her differently, or tip toe around her. Especially not her cousin, one of the only people who knew and accepted that she was a Werewolf.
Slowly, Lyra started to feel better. She opened her eyes, taking a deep breath to steady herself. Eadric was rubbing her arm slowly, trying to make her feel better. He asked if maybe she should go to the hospital wing again, and she shook her head.
"No," she said, pulling away from Eadric so she could stand without support, "I'm fine. Lets walk," she wanted to continue walking, get her blood moving again to clear her head. She started to walk along the same forest path they had been following before, and Eadric followed close to her, as though he would grab her if she needed to be supported again.

Eadric let Lyra lean her head on his shoulder, and started gently rubbing her arm, trying to make her feel somewhat better. He hated when Lyra felt unwell, but he couldn't help but feel pleased and slightly proud that it was him she wanted to lean on. He felt like he could do something for her, and like he was a brother worth having.
Eadric still remembered when they were kids, when the two of them had been the same size. They used to look much more similar than they did now. Lyra was like his other half, and she still was. But over the years they had grown different. They still had the same eyes (although Eadric's were darker), and a similar nose, but Eadric's hair had darkened, and his jaw and brow were much stronger. And he had grown taller, much taller than Lyra, taller than most people. And where Lyra remained small and slight, her changes came in the form of feminine softness, where as Eadric became broad shouldered and muscular. They were very different now. Lyra was five minutes younger than Eadric, and now more than ever she felt like his 'little' sister.
Theo apologised to Lyra, but Eadric thought it was a bit too little too late. He had just had to keep pushing, and now he had upset her enough to make her feel ill. But at least he had apologised, and it sounded more sincere than the apology he had been given. At least Theo seemed to be nicer to Lyra than he was to Eadric. Nicer than he was to most people, now Eadric thought about it.
Lyra said that she was fine, and that Theo wasn't to worry. "Are you sure?" he said, not convinced. "Maybe the Hospital Wing?" But Lyra was shaking her head, and she stopped leaning on him. She said that she wanted to walk, and Eadric frowned slightly. But then she started off, and Eadric didn't want to risk her becoming weak again and falling, so he started walking beside her, close so she could lean on him if she needed to.
