She's a Slytherin Princess after all, she liked to put herself in the center of attention, and AJ didn't go to Hogwarts yet, so believe me, she got plenty of attention. But the first time I actually spoke to Daphne was at Quidditch tryouts in third year. She was trying out for Beater, too, and I told her I was getting the spot, whether she liked it or not. She told me to rot in hell. I didn't take that too kindly and gave her a bloody nose. She brings it up almost every time we talk, blaming me for the fact that she didn't make the team that year. It wasn't my fault she was being a brat. It's fine, though, because I mock her Slytherin royalty at every chance I get, too.

We're kind of like fire and ice, Daph and I. She's the fire, I'm the ice. Or maybe it's the other way around. Either way, she gets on my nerves, and Merlin knows I get on hers, but we always end up around each other, mocking each other to no end. It's just the way our friendship goes. I'd like to say she annoys me to the core like AJ does, but... that's not true, and I've never been one to lie to myself. Maybe it's because of Quidditch or classes, but whatever the reason, Daphne doesn't quite get on my nerves in the same way that AJ does. AJ I kind of just want to deck a lot of the time, but Daph... her annoyance is annoyingly tolerable...sometimes. "[/color]

" ‘theo. theo theo theo. i’m not quite sure what to say about mr. nott. perhaps it’s best to preface this little blurb with the fact that if it wasn’t for his little attitude problem, we could probably be closer than we are right now. sure we’re at a party together every so often...but never anything close. i remember the first time we really talked...it was quidditch try outs in our third year. he told me that he was going to get the beater spot, even though that was the spot that i was dying for. i told him that he could go rot in hell and then tried to punch him. unfortunately for me, he pulled his wand and i had a bloody nose in seconds. i had to be escorted from try-outs and didn’t make the team.

i guess i’m still a little bitter about that whole mess. but it didn’t matter, because the next year, i was on the team as a solid chaser and the slytherin’s began making some headway in our little quest for the quidditch cup.

i can’t say that we get along too well, considering that all he does is bash me for being slytherin royalty and all i do is give him shite for the tryouts. we’re a mess, the pair of us are, but i can’t seem to stay away from him. parties...practices. whatever/wherever we are, i feel like i run into him. or maybe he’s the one running into me. who knows. maybe if he didn’t have such a good arm as a beater, i wouldn’t be having all these weird feelings for him.
