( PERSONALITY ) : While it is true that Leon is a brave individual who strives to do everything he can do to help both the Order and Hogwarts, as well as any friends and remaining family, he also has his fair share of flaws. He doesn't back down from any kind of situation and that is a plus and a negative all in one. He has a lot of courage but not always a lot of common sense. He tends to leave a lot to luck--which he seems to have in droves--and wings it much of the time, living in the moment, as it were. He is very much a person who relies on instinct and quick thinking. He's not always the wisest in the choices he makes but his heart is always in the right place. He likes to help people out, and has a strong sense of what is 'right' and what isn't.

It's fair to say he's a bit of a womanizer. He does like to flirt, has no issues with one night stands, and yet if he falls for someone he'd be as loyal as anyone could hope for. Still, he's not beyond perverse jokes and making it obvious when he finds someone attractive and is looking to pursue it--to whatever degree. He certainly isn't shy. He believes himself a handsome guy, and has his share of ego, too. He can lose his temper if someone really pisses him off, and he can hold his own quite easily in a fight that doesn't involve magic. Still, he is very proficient in Defense Against the Dark Arts, thanks to his father, who really drilled him in it from the day he was old enough to even hold a wand. He really hates the Dark Arts, and any who use them to harm innocent people. Also, since it was the Death Eaters who killed his parents and younger brother, he wants nothing more than to see them all put away and wouldn't hesitate to be the undoing of one.

He is very loyal as a friend, and perhaps gets too protective of people he cares about. He'd defend them with his life, or give his life for theirs. He blames himself for not being able to save his brother's life. He was with his parents when they were killed, but not with his brother when he was. He blames himself for not going straight there after his parent's deaths. He often takes a lot of blame on himself, wishing he could have done more than he did, or could do more than he does. He's a huge fan of the Quiddich game, and before he became the Professor for Care of Magical Creatures he had thought he might consider pursuing a Quiddich career professionally, as he was an outstanding beater. However he decided to return to Hogwarts in hopes of protecting it after what happened to his brother.

( HAIR ) : His hair is light brown, with even lighter highlights. He keeps it shorter and often spiked nearer the front. There are times when he is a bit scruffy, though he is more often clean shaven, or with merely a touch of stubble.
( EYES ) : He has hazel eyes, a mixture of green and a touch of brown, and a highlight of near yellow. Mostly they appear lighter with more green than any other color. They are capable of appearing to hold a smile or of looking deadly cold.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : He thinks himself quite the looker, with his strong nose and jawline, full lips and well shaped eyebrows. He has a slight dimple on his chin, notable more at side angles than front.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Leon stands at 6'1", tall enough in his mind to be a decent height. He is quite muscular, very well toned. His body is very important to him and he works out daily to keep it in tip top shape. Beneath the shirt he sports a six pack and even his arms show the bulk of muscle he carries. Yet he can't be described as 'bulky' either. There is a sort of leanness to him--enough to make him not look like he is more than well toned--clothed anyhow.
( ATTIRE ) : A lot of darker colors, namely grey, darker brown, green, and of course black. He has a penchant for white shirts, though, usually worn underneath a jacket--leather preferably. Black or brown army style boots seem to be the way to go for him. He's not big on robes. Hates them, in fact. After he graduated from Hogwarts, he prefers to wear a suit minus the tie to formal events--at least he knows he looks good in one!

( HISTORY ) : Leon was born into a pretty darn good family. His father was an Auror who was fascinated with muggle weapons and cars. His mother was a witch who had once worked for the Ministry of Magic, and now stayed home to look after the children. Because his father was so fascinated with cars and weaponry, his son ended up taking after him. His father also believed one should be able to fight without magic or weapons. After all, magic use in the muggle world was generally prohibited. What would happen if one lost his or her wand, or for some reason couldn't use magic? He taught his elder son how to use just about every weapon and how to fight without magic from a young age. Leon seemed to take to it like a natural, much to his father's pleasure. His mother didn't deem the 'training' necessary, but since it would benefit her son in the long run, she didn't protest either.

When his younger brother was born, Leon wasn't the least bit jealous. Rather his younger brother totally idolized him and he took pride in showing off for him. Leon was six when his brother was born. When he was sorted into Gryffindor, his father and mother couldn't have been prouder. His mother and father were both from that House. Later his brother would break tradition and be sorted into Ravenclaw, but their parents and Leon were proud nonetheless.

Leon did extremely well in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures, and Flying. He did well in Potions and Charms. The rest he didn't find as interesting and did averagely well in. His younger brother, however, was a genius. He excelled in every single class he took, and was quite obviously far brainier than his older brother. Still, what Leon lacked in that area he made up for in others. His brother was always scrawnier and didn't have an interest in anything other than intellectual pursuits. He wanted to be a professor when he grew up...but that would never happen.

Leon was known for never having one relationship for long. He dated quite a few girls, his longest relationship was a year with a very attractive young woman who decided to move to Romania when she graduated. He wasn't sure he actually loved her, but he wasn't happy to see her go, either. Which house a girl was in didn't seem to matter to the Gryffindor, either. He actually found Slytherin girls to be the most interesting, despite the fact that some of them he didn't care for at all.

He graduated and decided he wanted to work with magical creatures, and joined the Control of Magical Creatures department at the ministry for three years. It was there he found he liked dragons most, and then he went on to travel the world studying them and working with them for the next three years. That was when the war broke out. His parents, both members of the Order, died in a battle against the Death Eaters. Leon didn't even find out, not until the battle at Hogwarts. The final battle where his brother was killed by a falling stones from the castle, and he forever blamed himself for not being there to protect him.

Guilt ridden, he locked himself away and refused to speak with anyone. His depression threatened to swallow him, but that was when the owl came with the letter...the letter his brother wrote the day before his death. It stated that he wished Leon would come to the school for his next year and work as a professor in Care of Magical Creatures. Hagrid the gamekeeper wanted to remain gamekeeper and help rebuild after the war. That was his brother's final wish, in his mind, and so he went to apply and with good recommendations from the Ministry of Magic and his former teachers, he got the position despite the fact that he was just turned twenty-three. He isn't sure how he will do, but he sure as anything didn't want to let his younger brother down. He now carries a picture of his brother and parents in his leather wallet at all times.
