( HISTORY ) : Bradley was raised in an ultra-competitive environment. His Father had retired from professional football and hadn’t quite been able to give up on his dream so he had decided to live vicariously through his sons. Once his father saw quidditch he knew that he would train his sons to become the best quidditch players of all time. Bradley’s early life consisted of nothing except sports, he hadn’t learnt to fly yet, so his Father had put him in hand ball leagues to increase his hand-eye coordination, baseball to increase his ability with a bat, soccer to teach him how to become a keeper. They were trained and groomed from day one to be the best.

When Bradley learnt to fly at age 7 his Father had him on the pitch instantly. He went from hovering, to flying laps in a matter of hours. But the more Bradley play actual quidditch the more he realized he had no desire to play. Bradley loved the sport, but he preferred to coach and TEACH the game rather than to just play it. He understood all of the positions and it made sense to him, but his joy came from watching his friends succeed. It was this trait that made him an impeccable chaser, as he distributed the quaffle better than the kids his age who were more interested in scoring than passing.

When Bradley was 11 he received his letter to Hogwarts and was sorted into the same house as his Brother. Bradley didn’t make the quidditch team his first year, to which his Father wrote an angry letter to McGonagal; He did however make the team his second year and played every year afterwards.

Upon graduating, Bradley played one season with the Chuddley Cannons as a reserve player, before leaving the team to coach a minor league team in the United States, he spent three years coaching them and won a league title in his last season before the Ministry of Magic offered him a spot in the Department of Magical Games and Sports, where he became the director of all amateur quidditch. He was thrilled to find out he would be getting his first assignment at Hogwarts to help them set up their Quidditch league once again.

Looks like a great app! I'm just wondering what him being assigned to setting up the Hogwarts Quidditch league would entail? Would he have a staff position at Hogwarts, what would the 'Quidditch league' be, what would it involve for other characters (ie members of the house Quidditch teams).

He is just ensuring that the league is being set back up properly, mainly that the rules are being followed and that everything is up to standards. (Equipment, pitch, rules, referees, etc.) Being that he works for the Ministry he would not be a Hogwarts Staff member, he would soley be there as a consultant, and an overseer.

As far as Storyline and plotting goes, he would talk to padam pomfrey or any other staff member who is involved in matches, just to make sure they are up to par when it comes to knowledge of the rules. As for Students, considering he was a coach for the past several years, he would probably talk to them and give them advice on different techniques or strategies.

It's more of just a reason for him to be at Hogwarts despite working for the ministry

That all sounds good but you do know that we don't play out Quidditch matches or the Quidditch cup? We tried it out but there was generally no interest in it and the thread died, so we decided not to RP Quidditch matches. We still have teams, and know who plays what position, but that is more for RP purposes (ie so and so is a chaser and therefore friends with one of the other chasers, so they'd hang out... etc).
As long as you're okay with that I'm fine with approving the app
