Skipping, oh yes, he was skipping down the dungeons towards the entrance hall this 'fine' morning, with a wide grin on his face. It was just about breakfast time! In nearly thirty minutes! Why on earth was he up so early? Why on earth did he feel the need to race into the entrance hall this early? Nobody could ever be certain. Because nobody ever really understood Mr. Billy Bob's actions. He was one of the bubbliest and random person Hogwart's eyes had ever met. Even in the midst of the dark times and the horrible news, he was always looking to brighten people's days up. It was just part of Billy's oh so 'charm.' Some would call it sweet and adorable however, others would call it annoying. He'd take his odds either way and just smile at everyone even the one's with those pesky frowns on their faces.
When he reached the entrance hall the smile never faltered his face. Being as breakfast was still thirty minutes, away not, all that many people were around. He saw a slytherin give him a dirty look and he simply smiled at them. He saw a fellow Hufflepuff walk past but they looked to be in a bit of a hurry so he decided he would not bother them at this particular moment. He saw a first year ravenclaw reading a book on the steps of the stairs. She looked pretty friendly but he did not want to interrupt her read. He knew how some Ravenclaws could be while reading. He understood how exciting it could be to read! Of course, Billy preferred to live in the real world compared to a 'fantasy' land. It was so much more fun meeting new people rather than new people on a book page. Then he saw a few seventh year Gryffindors talking up a storm and Billy would have tried to join in but their conversation looked rather serious.
So instead, that smile still never leaving his face he looked around. He was not looking at anything in particular really just the surroundings. Because after all Hogwarts never got boring. It was filled with magical walls, painting, and artifacts Billy loved to absorb even after nearly six and a half years here. He loved telling his parents about it. His parents would just love this place. If only he could bring them here... but he knew it was not fully possible they were after all muggles. Therefore, he just left everything up to his memory as he told them stories of his adventures and the magic within Hogwarts.
He didn't mind just getting lost in Hogwarts while he waited for someone to show up that he could talk to. Billy being a really outgoing guy... it surly wouldn't take long for someone to come along that he would try to muster up a conversation with... rather they like it or not. It was just who he was...
And even if he couldn't muster up a good conversation the food would be served in just thirty minutes!

Clementine had woken up bright and early, like she often did everyday. After hiding her freckles-- she hated them!-- and brushing her hair, she grabbed her messenger bag and left the dorm. It was still too early for breakfast, but she figured she would do her Divination work at the table. She didn't like to sit around the dorm and dawdle until it was breakfast time. She always felt like she was slacking.
The walk to the Great Hall was rather boring. She smiled at those she passed by, and skittered around those who didn't want to move for her. She reached the Hall in a little under ten minutes. She had perfected her walk there over the seven years. Smiling, she entered the Great Hall and glanced around.
There were a few people here, even with how early it was. Her eyes spotted a Ravenclaw reading, a Slytherin scowling from their table, and some Gryffindors talking animatedly. Then her brown eyes landed on Billy and she grinned. Someone she knew! She walked over towards him slowly, taking her sweet time.
Billy was a nice guy. She had met him in her second year, and he was cheerful. She liked that about him. Clementine had met many a grumpy person, and it always managed to bring her down whenever she had to talk with them. Billy was always happy it seemed. She couldn't remember a time she had seen him frown, even last year during the War. He was always trying to cheer people up.
"Good morning, Billy!" she greeted as she came to stand near him. "How are you doing? You're down here rather early!" She gave him a bright, peppy smile and giggled. Clem was always up early. It was just how her parents had raised her. They said early to rise, early to bed, and the most successful during the day. She tilted her head to the side and studied him, waiting for his reaction. She hadn't been able to interact with him in awhile, after all.

His whole mind got lost inside the world of Hogwarts. It was really no surprise that he could get so easily lost in his surroundings. Billy was always one of the most easily distracted people at Hogwarts. It was always hard for professors to keep him paying attention. He was often looked at as a 'bad student' to some of the professors and other students. However, many professors knew he tried his hardest to stay focused and be a good student and worked with him after class. It was just some of the more abrupt, strict professors that had a hard time dealing with him. Nevertheless, Billy was lucky he had such an adorable charm about him that professors could never get so mad at him that he would get detentions left and right for not paying attention. It was never intentional on his behalf when he got distracted or became a distraction in class talking to other students... most people knew this. Professors were usually more keen to get after the students that disrupted class on purpose.
Billy Bob could have easily kept his mind on the wonders of Hogwarts all morning if nobody had interrupted his thoughts. He was not complaining at all however. Billy was such a social person that he would much rather talk to people then let his mind wonder off into space. Of course, even when he was in a social setting that did not mean he wouldn't get lost in thought and speak of the most random things. He always had a tough time staying focused on a conversation without wondering off. One minute it would be about charms class and the next it could be about food. But, he was a great person to talk to and an amazing person to talk to if you needed cheering up. However, if it came to needing advice his advice was always some of the most ridiculous advice anyone could ever muster up. And if a person just needed someone to vent to or to listen to Billy struggled with staying focused but when he knew it was important he was apt to take all his might and focus on what a person was saying and just being there for them. It was a difficult task but he did it.
A wide grin erupted off his face when he saw his friend a fellow hufflepuff speak to him. "Clementine! Hello!" he said a lot louder then he even realized. It had been a long while since he had a good chat with her. In fact, with anyone really. School had just started up again and sure, he wrote letters to some of his friends but being in the muggle world and traveling with a circus on his breaks he didn't get all that much time to communicate with everyone back at Hogwarts. And, the last year at Hogwarts had been so hectic with everyone preparing for the war and dealing with losses that socialization lacked for everyone. He was so happy to finally be back at Hogwarts and able to catch up with everyone without everyone fearing an invasion from Voldomort.
"I'm doing great! How are you!?" he asked his attention span focusing completely on his good friend since he first started here at Hogwarts. Even though she was a year older than he was that never stopped their friendship or anything. He loved that about the Hufflepuff house nearly everyone easily became part of a family of friends inside this house no matter what age or year you were in. "I was hoping to get an early start on my day and maybe see some people to talk to!" that Billy smile still not leaving his face.
