( FULL NAME ) : Lauren Michelle Harper.[/blockquote]
( NICKNAMES ) : Ren has been her nickname since she was a little girl, and it’s just how she started introducing herself now. Only Professors ever really call her Lauren.
( SEX ) : Female.
( BLOOD TYPE ) : Pureblood.
( AGE & DOB ) : Seventeen. February 3.
( YEAR ) : Repeating her sixth year.
( HOUSE ) : Ravenclaw
( AFFILIATION ) : Death Eater
( SEXUAL ORIENTATION ) : Bisexual
( WAND ) : 9 inches
Blackthorn Wood - Blackthorn, which is a very unusual wand wood, has the reputation, in my view well-merited, of being best suited to a warrior. This does not necessarily mean that its owner practises the Dark Arts (although it is undeniable that those who do so will enjoy the blackthorn wand’s prodigious power); one finds blackthorn wands among the Aurors as well as among the denizens of Azkaban. It is a curious feature of the blackthorn bush, which sports wicked thorns, that it produces its sweetest berries after the hardest frosts, and the wands made from this wood appear to need to pass through danger or hardship with their owners to become truly bonded. Given this condition, the blackthorn wand will become as loyal and faithful a servant as one could wish.
Unicorn Hair core - Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard.

( LIKES ) : reading, purebloods, personal gain, learning, intelligence, writing[/blockquote]
( DISLIKES ) : fire, muggles, people of lower intelligence, stress, surprises, when things are out of her control
( STRENGTHS ) : Intelligent, conscientious, organized, reliable, energetic
( WEAKNESSES ) : Controlling, neurotic, gossip, moody, vengeful
( AMORTENTIA) : New parchment, Honey, Cinnamon, Tree Sap
( RIDDIKULUS! ) : Fire.
( EXPECTO PATRONUM! ) : Getting put in to Ravenclaw like the rest of her family.
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : Losing her parents in the fire.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : To see muggles suffer in the same way that her parents did.
( PERSONALITY ) : Conscientious – Ren is very aware of social cues and what’s going on around her, and will often change herself to fit the situation. She has a very strong desire to be liked by others. She’s extremely good at reading others and understanding their point of view. Also, the fact that she has such a strong desire to be liked by others makes her very supportive. She has an invariable gift to make others feel good about themselves without even realizing it. Ren is the type of person who needs someone else’s approval to feel good about herself. She’s hurt by indifference and doesn’t understand unkindness. After all, who wouldn’t like her?
Reliable – She takes responsibility and her assignments very seriously. She always hands in her work in on time, and when she is given a task she will persevere until the task is complete. She is a Ravenclaw, after all. She’s well-organized, has good self-discipline. She values security and stability above everything else, and has a strong focus on the details of life. She sees what needs to be done before others do, and does whatever it takes to get it done. She likes those kinds of things, and finds herself very good at every task she’s given. She gives her all to every task that’s given as well as those people she calls friends.
Intelligent – Aside from Ren’s social intelligence she is also incredibly book-smart. She enjoys learning as much as she can about absolutely everything, and takes her lessons very seriously. She considers herself one of the smartest people in school, but she doesn’t go around telling people that because it might make them not like her. She’s very self-conscious and very aware of what people think of her. She values other people’s opinions too highly. She gets top marks in all of her classes and is able to see things in other people that they may not even see in themselves. Her favorite subjects are Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
Closed-minded – Ren doesn’t enjoy surprises or new kinds of experiences. She’s a bit set in her ways. How her family’s done things is the right way, how she does things is the right way. She doesn’t go out of her way to try things she’s never done before, but if the opportunity presents itself she’s likely to take it, but very apprehensively. She hates being snuck up on and is wary to adventure into new places. She likes sticking to what she knows, and it’s always been that way.
Social – Ren is very much a people person. She needs their approval to feed her self-esteem, after all. She loves being around all kinds of people and tends to be very curious as to who they are and what they’re like. She’s developed a bit of a prejudice against muggle-borns, but she’s trying to look past it, and tell herself that at least they’re more gifted than their wretched awful parents.
Controlling - She feels the need to be in control of everything. All the time. It can sometimes become a bit annoying to others, and when Ren is out of control of a situation she begins to get very stressed out and emotional. It’s why she hates surprises and things unknown, she can’t control them. She likes to be in charge of groups and other people, too, trying her hardest to be picked to lead a group every chance she gets. It’s one of the reasons she chose the keeper position in Quidditch over every other position. She can be in control of whether or not the Quaffle goes in.
Neurotic/Moody – When a situation is out of Ren’s control she tends to breakdown and stress out beyond belief. Her heart begins beating faster and she makes herself sick to the point of nausea and near tears. She doesn’t allow other people to see her like this, usually, for fear they will think badly of her, and she can’t have that. She tends to become nervous in situations she’s not familiar with, and she’s very moody. One minute she can be happy, and then she’ll have a thought, and her mood will sour completely. Or you’ll say something and she’ll take it in a way you don’t mean it and blow up at you. She’s a very emotional, literal girl.
Disagreeable – While Ren is a social butterfly she easily finds faults in others and judges them for it. She believes she’s above everyone else both in looks and intelligence which can sometimes make others angry. She has a very well-formed idea of how things should be and she will stick to it no matter what. She can be harsh and callous towards others, despite her deep need to be liked by everyone, which makes her a bit of a self-masochist.
Vengeful - This is a trait of Ren’s that only started developing in her second year. Until then she was a very kind-hearted soul and would have forgiven you without a second thought. It was how she was raised, really. But in her second year something happened, and it changed something within her. It destroyed her idealistic view of the world and her idealistic view of people. She’d been all for complete peace until that night. That night turned her into a vengeful, cold person towards muggles, and most muggle-borns, and even half-bloods. And she wants revenge.

( HAIR ) : Rens’ hair is dark brown/black, straight, and falls down just below her shoulders. She wears it in all kinds of different fashions depending on the day. It can be up, down, straight, curly, wavy. It really depends on what she wants it to do that day. She also has sidebangs.
( EYES ) : Her eyes are a deep brown, so dark you almost don’t see the pupil. They’re almond-shaped.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : She has a square shaped face with a small jaw and nose. Her nose is a bit thin for her face, but she wears it proudly. She thinks she’s very beautiful, and wouldn’t change a thing about her appearance.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : She’s not the most muscular person in the world. She doesn’t work out for Quidditch as much as she probably should, but she lets her reflexes do the work on the pitch. She’s got a bit of muscle, but she’s a bit lanky. Her body isn’t one that’s too impressive, but she’s okay with what she was given as far as curves are concerned. She’s about 5’7 and weighs 125 lbs.
( ATTIRE ) : Ren dresses differently every day. It depends on the weather or how she feels that day. She is a huge fan of yoga pants and sweat pants, and tight-fitting t-shirt. You will rarely catch her in a dress or shirt that’s not form-fitting.
( PLAY-BY ) :Gemma Arterton!

( PARENTS ) :[/blockquote]Marie Harper, 39, Healer, former Ravenclaw, DeceasedNeil Harper, 38, Auror, Former Ravenclaw, Deceased
( SIBLINGS ) : Liam Brian Harper, 19, Ravenclaw
Jackson Alan Harper, 16, brother, Ravenclaw
Eva Lily Harper, 14, sister, Gryffindor
( OTHERS ) : Matilda Harper, 42, Aunt, former Hufflepuff
( HISTORY ) : Ren is the middle of four children, and the first girl. As such she was constantly praised and spoiled by her parents, but her parents were also very protective of her. They never wanted her to get hurt, and neither did she, and that’s where her controlling tendencies began. Her parents were constantly telling her she could and couldn’t do things, and she would get angry with them for it. She wanted to be in control of what she could do. When Jackson and Eva were born she got blamed for a little of things she didn’t do, but she didn’t let it get on her nerves. It was part of her big sister territory, and she loved being a big sister. It grew tiresome always being Liam’s little sister. She and her brothers all got along famously when they were younger, but Eva was a different story. Eva got all of Lauren’s hand-me-down toys and extra clothes, and Eva and she often butted heads because Eva didn’t like the hand me downs. She wanted her own things, but her parents couldn’t really afford Eva’s own things. Lauren’s family wasn’t poor or incredibly well-off, they were average, and got by just fine, but they needed to cut corners sometimes, and when your sister is two years younger than you, you’ll find there are eventually a lot of things you can hand down to her. When Lauren was six they moved to a muggle neighborhood in England. Lauren was brought up not to be prejudice of anyone. Lauren didn’t really understand why the Wizarding world had to be kept such a secret in their new neighborhood if that was the case. She wasn’t really sure why they had to move, either. Muggle London was nice and all, but why did they have to leave Little Whinging? Her father mentioned something about it not being very safe, but he never went into any more detail at all, and Lauren didn’t bother to ask again. That was all she needed. Liam went off to Hogwarts when was 10 and he got put in Ravenclaw, like his mother and his father, and when she was eleven she too went to Hogwarts. She was a little paranoid because she was terrified of being put in a house that wasn’t Ravenclaw. When the hat was placed on her head it conversed with her a bit about putting her in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. She mentally screamed that she didn’t want to be in Slytherin. She didn’t want to be the only one in her family to not get into Ravenclaw. And when she was put into Ravenclaw it was the happiest moment of her life, and the thought she uses to conjure a patronus should she ever need to.
While Ren was home for Holiday during her second year somehow someone in town had accidentally found out that her mother was a witch, and her father was a wizard. They knew nothing about the children, though. Over that Holiday muggles came to her house in the middle of the night, and set fire to it. Ren remember waking up to the heat of the fire that surrounded her room. She screamed, the muggle smoke alarm screeching above her head. Flames were surrounding her, the heat licking her skin. Her skin began melding and she screamed again. She didn’t understand what was happening. How could they have known? None of them ever performed magic in front of anyone. Ever! They’d made a name for themselves in the muggle community, despite being purebloods. Why would they ruin that? Her father came bursting through the door shouting something that Lauren couldn’t distinguish. He shouted as he dove over the flames. He picked her up and rushed her down the stairs. The fire was everywhere.
“Get outside!” Neil shouted, and the children didn’t question it as they rushed for the door. Liam was holding Eva who was sobbing in his arms. Lauren grabbed Jackson’s hand and together the children fled. Their Aunt Matilda was standing outside waiting for them. Merlin knew how she got there or knew what was happening, but one of their parents must have known something was wrong. Her parents couldn’t have performed any magic or it would have proven the muggles right. Their father had shouted something out of the upstairs window, and with a loud crack the house began to give in itself. Lauren’s mother and father had been trapped inside. Muggles were staring all around, some innocent, some not. A fireman came rushing over to the children, they picked up and held by different firemen, checked for injuries. Lauren was sobbing as her heart broke within her chest. She didn’t care about her burns she wanted her parents back.
A week went by and the whole situation was a mess for the Ministry. They were questioned about what happened. Had any of the children performed magic without realizing it? Had either of her parents used apparition as a method of travel? Lauren sat there and answered all their questions like a hollowed out soul. The fire had caused a mess for the Ministry. They had to wipe the memories of the entire village, but no one ever knew what tipped them all off to the magic. There was nothing she could do about the fire, but oh how she longed to go back and change that fateful night. The night the muggles acted out of fear for something they didn’t understand. They were pathetic, small-minded creatures who lacked talent and ability. And from that day forward she vowed to hate muggles for the rest of her life because of what they had taken from her and her family.
She moved in with her Aunt Matilda, back in the wizarding world, shortly after that, and has lived with her ever since. Life became weird after the death of her parents. She hated fire. She became so easily on edge, waking up from night terrors nearly every night. She was sure it got on her housemates nerves, but she couldn’t control it. She wanted the night terrors to stop. She wanted to stop waking up in a pool of her own sweat and tears. And sure enough, she had trained herself to get over the loss. She transformed herself from a little girl to a young woman, and every day that passed she grew more and more angry with the muggles.
She didn’t fight at the battle of Hogwarts, though her allegiance lies with the dark lords if for no other reason than to get what she wants – revenge. Her older brother is out of school now and trying to find the right career to pursue, and she was here in Hogwarts repeating her sixth year with Jackson and Eva in their own years. Eva was the only one who hadn’t been sorted into Ravenclaw, but she’d always been different from the rest of them. Since the fire they’ve grown incredibly close as siblings, even with all of the changes that have happened to Ren’s mindset. They take care of each other as a family above all else.
