Neville Frank Longbottom sighed as he flipped the pages of a book. He wondered how everyone was doing. Harry seemed a little attached to him lately and totally ignored Hermione. That didn’t seem right to Neville but he stayed with Harry because he was worried about his friend. He hanged out with Hermione to. Another thing that wasn’t right was that Ron was always drunk. He never seemed like the guy that would get like that but every time Neville was round him he was either drunk or getting there. Relationships between life-long friends were strained and Neville was just trying to help where he could. Neville continued flipping through the pages of his book trying to figure out what he should do that day. He needed something else to do as he couldn’t concentrate on his book. Closing his book he laid it on the bed then quickly got dressed. He was in his pjs so he put on blue jean pants, a long-sleeve button up shirt, and a sweater vest. He fixed his hair then quickly put on his socks and shoes. He ran a hand through his hair as he sat on the bed thinking for just a moment.
After he was dressed he walked through the castle. He walked with his hands in his pocket wondering where he should go. His feet glided across the stone floor as he was lost in deep thought. He was so deep in thought that he didn’t pay attention to where he was walking to. Before he knew it he was on the ground floor of the school. He frowned wondering when he had gotten there. Had he been there for a while and didn’t notice? Did he just come out of his thoughts when he got there? These questions wondered through his mind as he stared around the Entrance Hall. He sighed as he looked around. Students were walking around going about their normal day for the weekend.
He kept looking around wondering where he wanted to go still. He hadn’t thought this through before heading out that much was clear, but after a while of debating Neville decided to go outside for a while. He loved being outside especially when he was at the greenhouses. He loved plants. He wanted to teach Herbology after school. He walked with his hands in his pockets out the doors of the school. He walked around and went to the greenhouses for a while. When he was done he went to the courtyard at the school. He walked around just looking around enjoying the cool breeze and the clear blue sky.
