( PERSONALITY ) : a lot of people know takuya's public poker face. they know him as a smooth talker, a cocky man with a charming smile and a flirtatious side that would make most young women melt. however, as an auror, that was just his public image. he liked to confuse those who pursue him. they expected him to be relaxed and easily caught off guard, but he was always one step ahead of the rest. he and his fiancé were a force to be reckoned with, especially together. they both worked well side-by-side and he couldn't help but sometimes get lost in his battlelust. however, that was then and this is now. he left the world of aurors after the war and decided to become a teacher after he was invited to when the school re-opened.

takuya makes an interesting teacher. he doesn't take anything too seriously ever but he makes his work fun so that kids are motivated to do their work without a hissy fit. he tries to make his lessons as interesting as he possibly can so everyone would want to be involved. he was sorted into ravenclaw for the reason of being a creative thinker. he definitely is creative when coming up with his lesson plans. he also has some adhd problems and tends to want to always do hands-on activities, with maybe one day of book work out of four days of activities.

when it comes to his personal life, he's still hurting. he's pretty reclusive and prefers to stay holed up in his chambers, reading a book instead of being out in the world. he also will listen to radio programs and write letters home to his family. he doesn't really like to think about not having...her. maybe he'll never get over it. but everyone is hoping he will. coming to hogwarts, for him, was trying to erase the pain that has plagued him for the past year.

( HAIR ) : his hair length and color always changes, due to the fact he likes to alter himself. usually it's messy and black, or styled in intricate ways. sometimes he'll turn it blonde, other times its brown, sometimes its red. it just depends on how he's feeling.
( EYES ) : his eyes are a silvery blue, very almond shaped and very descriptive. they hold a lot of sadness within them, but also a lot of hatred and anger. a lot of times, his eyes captivate those around him for being so reminiscent of the moon on a clear winter's night.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : he has a very defined face. he's got high cheekbones, a straight nose, thin lips, smaller ears, and an overall good complexion. you can tell easily that he's japanese, although sometimes he's a little aesthetically vain and preens too much.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : he's about five ten, and he's incredibly muscular. he also has a large brand on his back from when he battled some hellish creatures set loose by lord voldemort.
( ATTIRE ) : he tends to wear things that are a little flamboyant. he's a fashionable guy, but likes to wear things like leather jackets, cowboy boots, fedoras...whatever he can get his hands on. because of his culture, he likes to dress well at all times. his favorite lately has been tight-fitting t-shirts and a jacket with jeans. he's just...in style. or at least tries to be. because he's self-conscious about being the only japanese person in a 200 mile radius. or so it seems.

( PARENTS ) : ayumi sakane, age 64, housewife. nobuo sakane, age 72, retired auror.
( SIBLINGS ) : only child.
( OTHERS ) : his cousin alexander "alex" kitano.
( HISTORY ) : once upon a time in a far away land called TOKYO, there was a littel boy named takuya that was born to loving parents who wanted nothing more for their gifted little boy to have the best upbringing ever. he attended a local wizarding school for some time (for children to see if its worth sending them out of the country) and he excelled, so he was accepted into hogwarts at the age of eleven. he was sorted into ravenclaw and excelled, despite having some difficulties understanding the language. it wasn't too much of a barrier and it became more natural for him. he made plenty of friends and seemed like just your average kid in school. there wasn't really anything that bothered him, not even the war. it wasn't really his problem way over in japan. sometimes people got angry at him for his indifference towards voldemort.

however, everything changed in his fifth year. he fell in love with a beautiful girl by the name of grace. she was perfect. she was everything he wanted. and he was just this awkward little asian kid that spoke awful english and kept his book in a nose if he wasn't working out. however, she and him began to talk. and after they graduated, grace katya fleuret was takuya's fiance. and they both were on their way to becoming aurors. at first, takuya strongly supported the ministry and worked diligently under umbridge. grace also worked diligently, but she questioned. and her questioning made her suddenly disappear while on a mission with a group one day.

takuya started to get worried and the ministry's response was that they ran into complications. but he figured it out after a week. she had been killed because she leaked some ministry secrets to kingsley shacklebolt. he contemplated joining the death eaters just to take revenge on the people who ordered his beautiful fiance dead. however, kingsley talked him out of it and takuya joined the order just in time for the battle at hogwarts. he also was one of the ones that helped with the restoration. while he was helping set up for the new school year, minerva approached him with a teaching position at hogwarts. he accepted reluctantly, thinking he wouldn't be a good teacher. however, despite being emotionally destroyed by the events of the war, he proved to be a fantastic teacher.

however, he still hides in the shadows and prefers not to be around people after school hours. takuya still hasn't wrapped his head around the idea of not having grace in his life.
