Since then, she’s been trying to find him but has had no luck in that department. She can barely remember his face anymore...
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : The day that she burnt off half of her hair during her first potions lesson. Beyond embarrassing for little Daphne Greengrass. Since then, she’s been fighting to keep that memory out of everyone’s head.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : She sees herself with the guy that she met in Hawaii all those years ago...although, his face is missing. She still can’t place what he looked like exactly, but she’s convinced that if she sees him, she’ll just...know.
( PERSONALITY ) : Honesty is her best quality; Daphne is not afraid to tell people exactly what she thinks about everything, even if it means that she comes off as a little brutal. She’s always been this way, and she personally thinks that its the only way to get what you want. She prides herself on her honesty, even though other people often think that it’s too much. She’s always direct with what she’s trying to say and never beats around the bush...it goes back to her belief that honest will get you anywhere you need to go in life...and so far, so good! She’s intelligent, at least intelligent enough to pass all of her classes, but she doesn’t always put forth the effort that she should. Instead, she’s more than happy to spend her Double Potions lesson making out with whoever is sitting next to her. Daphne Greengrass certainly lives a charmed life.

She’s also extremely self-centered and vain. She cares deeply about the way that other people view her and, although she doesn’t let on, sometimes she gets a little self-conscious. She’s afraid that everyone is constantly comparing her to AJ, and she just won’t have that...at least not this year. Daphne thinks that repeating her seventh year means that she’s in for a pampering of her lifetime.

Like her little sister, Daphne is nothing if not manipulative and dangerous. She knows how to get what she wants and she’s not afraid to climb on everyone else’s heads to get it. She’s cool and collected when she wants to be, always careful to keep her emotions in check...except when it comes to little AJ. She’s also extremely competitive about getting what she wants in this situation. The rivalry between the two Greengrass sisters has always been a delicate topic for Daphne, considering that she’s fallen behind lately. There’s only so much getting laid by loads of Slytherin boys can get you...and unfortunately for her, it’s not the top spot this time. Recently, though, it appears as if AJ has started to let up a little and has defiantly given Daphne a chance to scoop up the top spot as Slytherin Princess.

Behind all that, there are some redeeming qualities about this Greengrass sister. She met a man in Hawaii a long time back and since then, it’s always given her hope that there’s someone out there who can see the best in her: The kind and caring side that she rarely lets escape (after all, it would tarnish her reputation!). But so far, she hasn’t found that guy and...she’s beginning to lose faith that he even existed in the first place.

( HAIR ) : Daphne has long brown hair that falls approximately to her mid back. She usually wears it in loose curls and down. She doesn’t like her bangs very much, so they’re generally kept out of her face, but when she’s feeling a little under the weather, she’ll let them hang over her eyes to hide some of her sickliness.
( EYES ) : Daphne has large green eyes that are one of the most profound features of her face. Everyone is drawn to her because her eyes are so large and doe-like. Although they give her an innocent quality, she’s far from innocent, dubbing herself the self-proclaimed Slytherin Princess.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : A cute button nose, cheekbones that protrude, and a strong jaw-line are what make up Daphne’s face. She has an interesting bone structure that is quite unlike her sisters, and if it wasn't for the slightly russian and childish look that she has about her, no one would be able to tell that they were related.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Much like her sister, Daphne is quite short, falling around 5’3”. She’s doesn’t have much going on on top, but she does work out quite a lot. Being on the Quidditch team gives her a chance to tone those arm muscles, and they’re her favorite asset.
( ATTIRE ) : Daphne loves to wear whatever will get her the most attention, which usually means something low cut, especially when she goes out. She doesn’t particularly like her Hogwarts uniform and will normally wear her tie loose and not straight, her sleeves rolled up, and the top couple of buttons undone.

( HISTORY ) : Daphne was the first of the Greengrass daughters to be born into practical royalty. Her parents spoiled her rotten from the day that she was born, especially her father. He saw a lot of promise in his little Daph. She grew up surrounded by her loving parents, always around them. Unlike her sister, she was never one that wanted to turn away from her family - instead, she loved the company of her parents and extended family. She loved the social aspect of it all, the way that they always praised her perfectly placed brown hair and her large, saucer-like, doe-eyes. She was a rare bird in the Greengrass family and it seemed as if everyone knew it. Daphne wasn’t happy when her little sister was born, although the girl seemed a little out there, she could feel that there was going to be a sort of competition between them from the very beginning. They butted heads from the time that AJ could feel such feelings. She hated that her parents sent her little sister to a Muggle shrink and tried to cover it up by telling all of her friends that her sister was insane and had to be sent away. However, they never believed her.

When she got to Hogwarts, it was no surprise that Daphne was sorted into Slytherin. She was cold and manipulative from the day that she was born. When she wrote her parents to tell them, they were extremely proud, if not a little surprised (no parent wants to believe that their child is as spoilt rotten as Daph was). She did well in her classes, but refused to exert a lot of energy into her everyday homework.

Summers were spent in Hawaii and a few summers ago, she met a guy. A guy who’s face she can’t seem to remember, but since then, she hasn’t been able to get him out of her head. She honestly thinks that if she could just hear his voice again then it would all come rushing back to her - but unfortunately, that opportunity has not presented itself to her yet. She loves sitting by the sandy beaches and flirting with the cabana boys whenever possible.

The day that AJ arrived at school changed everything - Suddenly, Daph’s territory was threatened and she felt the need to stake out a claim. It all spiraled from there, the pair of them always trying to one up each other. She began drinking and partying heavily, spending almost all of her time trying to climb the social ladders that hung around Hogwarts. And, much to her surprise, she’s managed to climb all the way to the top. This year, she’s neck and neck with her sister, fighting for that top spot of Slytherin Princess...
