( LIKES ) : Quidditch, playing pranks, his best friends Hermione and Ron, self discovery, teaching, showing-off, helping others, and his familiar owl Orion.[/size][/blockquote]
( DISLIKES ) : Dementors, the Malfoy's, followers of the dark lord, people who aren't open-minded, disloyalty and dishonesty.
( STRENGTHS ) :
- Willingness to listen to others and lend aid (compassionate)
- Well practiced and strong patronus charm
- Dependable and trustworthy
- Will risk himself in order to protect another or gain justice
- Always has the best of intentions
- Willingness to learn and take criticism
( WEAKNESSES ) :
- Quick to act on impulse and take matters into his own hands
- Has a quick temper that tends to flare
- Doesn't like to be proved wrong
- Jealous over friends and potential love interests
- Doesn't always think things through properly
- Tends to think himself invincible or capable of anything
- Competitive
( AMORTENTIA) : Treacle tart, a broomstick handle, and Ginny Weasley's hair.
( RIDDIKULUS! ) : Dementors, or rather, fear itself.
( EXPECTO PATRONUM! ) : The faint memory of his parents, though he has many various happy memories that he conjures up such as winning his first Quidditch match and getting his letter for Hogwarts.
( DEMENTOR'S KISS ) : Having lost people that he loves so dearly, family and friends.
( MIRROR OF ERISED ) : To have his parents alive, and with him.
( PERSONALITY ) : A lot of the time Harry feels like the more he tries to do, the more in vain his efforts are. He always sees things going wrong, and feels like he has to fix everything in order to have succeeded. He's not exactly one for small victories. Like any other teenage male seeking to impress, he tends to over exaggerate those victories to gain attention. It’s unsurprising that as he continually discovers there is not a one in the wizarding world whom doesn't know the name "Harry Potter," the more alone he feels. He hates the idea of not being able to rise to people’s expectations. He tries his best to please everyone, but that’s wherein the problem lies. Like a muggle in this regard, Harry will always fall short of pleasing everyone, and even now he has yet to learn that. As much as Harry is a people pleaser, he always does what he knows to be the right thing. He follows his moral compass to the best of his ability in order to attain justice. He tends to take the world on his shoulders and it doesn’t take much to convince himself that he’s the only one who can save, well… everyone. Come the end of things, it’s always been him in the final battle. Standing alone. With his friends always there to back him, he’s never truly alone. He realizes this time and again, despite how he feels.
When someone has been emotionally hurt, or is feeling down, Harry has a world of patience. He does whatever he can to make them feel better. He’s a great listener, and always makes time for his friends. Ron has been there for him from the very beginning and he’d do just about anything to defend him, up to giving his life for the Weasley boy. Harry views Hermione as a best friend all the same. He loves seeking advice from the wise girl, especially since she always seems to know the right thing to say. Ron’s support comes in simpler ways, but is no less meaningful. He loves his two best friends, and has vowed to never lose touch with either of them. With how much their journeys have bonded them together; he doubts it’ll happen anyways. Both friendship and love are the two key factors in every decision that Harry makes. He really doesn’t want to disappoint anyone, and with how much of a priority he places on friends, there isn’t a time that he’s not considering how they feel.
In an argument, however, Harry can be rather selfish. He says things he doesn’t mean and always feels the need to protect himself, as if everyone that doesn’t agree is out to get him. The boy has strong beliefs, and when he truly believes in something he’s difficult to sway. He may seem a bit airheaded at times, and surely a time or two, someone has thought him conceded, but one can hardly blame him for feeling frustrated. Decisions are always put on him to make, no one is making his decisions for him. If he makes the wrong one, then he has to live with the consequences, and not always is it just him living with the consequences of his errs. The decisions he makes usually affect more than just himself. Being as quick to anger as he is, when he feels like he can’t get through to someone, he storms off, needing time to be alone and rethink things. He always reasons that he was wrong to fight or argue in order to make his point, but not always does he come to the conclusion that the point he was trying to make was wrong. The Potter boy needs to better learn to let things go and compromise. Not everyone has to think the way he does, and adopt his ideals, in order to keep safe.
Harry’s competitive nature gets him into trouble, no doubt. Rarely does he turn down a challenge, especially if it’s coming from Draco Malfoy. The fact that he likes to show-off doesn’t help any. He hates for anyone to think him incapable, or even second best, especially when it comes to Quidditch. He loves to play, and has been doing so from an early age after having come to Hogwarts. He’s thought of playing the game nationally in order to stay with it, and keep playing, but he’s not too sure if he wants that particular kind of fame. Being forever known as “The Chosen One,” and “The Boy Who Lived,” Harry knows better than to think he can escape those titles, or overshadow them. Despite, he does have a deep-rooted love for the game he bears a natural talent for. His position as Seeker has remained his favourite. Enjoying the praise he receives after a win, it’s not a wonder that he stays with the difficult task of catching the snitch. Harry is one hundred percent obsessed with flying. He is determined to have the fastest brooms as they continue to be produced. A born flier, no one can deny that flying is one of the boy’s best skills. He feels as if he were born on a broomstick.

( HAIR ) : Harry Potter is known for his short jet black hair. Unkempt and unruly, it seems that the boy can hardly ever keep a handle on it. As often as he tries, he can't comb it properly. His bangs tend to fall over his forehead, covering his scar. His hair is fairly thick, which doesn't help matters either.
( EYES ) : Harry has nice almond-shaped eyes. They're an attractive shade of green, not that Harry would ever have much to say about it.
( FACIAL STRUCTURE ) : One of the most notable things about Harry's appearance is that he's pallid. His pale skin clashes terribly with his black hair. His face is thin, though with age and maturation he has formed a rather strong jaw. His nose is a tad wide, and his brows are rather thick and bushy. A pair of very obtuse glasses are always set upon his face.
( BODY STRUCTURE ) : Harry is very lean, and not all that impressive to look at. He's not overtly tall, though it has been said that he stands nearly the height of his father, so approximately 5'11".
( ATTIRE ) : Harry is most often found in his wizards robes, however when he's not at Hogwarts, or permitted to wear casual dress, Harry can usually be found in clothes that are too big for him. He wears a lot of neutral colors, such as blacks and greys, and earthy browns. Normally he wears a pair of dressier-looking black, brown, or tan pants, and a regular t-shirt of the same aforementioned, neutral, color variation. He's not exactly classy, though he doesn't have a horrible sense of fashion.
( PLAY-BY ) : Daniel Radcliffe.

( OTHERS ) :
Uncle Vernon Dursley {muggle}
Aunt Petunia Dursley {muggle}
Cousin Dudley Dursley {muggle}
Aunt Marjorie "Marge" Dursley {muggle}
( HISTORY ) : If Harry didn’t know the story himself, then surely there would be at least half a dozen who could tell it to him.
It was a night like any other, though perhaps a special night in that it was the night he was truly saved. Harry was dropped off on the Dursley’s doorstep by those he would come to personally know when the time came. It was there that he was raised, and well his childhood was miserable and most certainly unfair, he came to be thankful in that he was alive… Once discovering that he was a wizard with the deliverance of his letter to Hogwarts, everything changed, both for the worse, and the better. He found out that the Dursley’s had been lying to him for the past ten years, and that his parents had been far more than ordinary. (Though, even to him, they’d always been far more than ordinary.)
At Hogwarts not everything was revealed to him. Instead, he was given the chance to fit in, and make friends. Recommended to Slytherin by the sorting hat, but instead choosing Gryffindor, Harry could’ve never made a better choice. Gryffindor is where he came to know Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Their adventures were ceaseless, and upon discovering his true destiny, Harry needed all the help he could get.
With the return of Lord Voldemort, came the unveiling of Harry’s place in the wizarding world. First, the discovery of the philosopher’s stone shed some light on what Voldemort was after. Then came the Chamber of Secrets, that Harry, Ron, and Hermione put their heads together to discover. (Of course, it was really Hermione that did the work now wasn’t it?) In that particular journey they learned about Tom Riddle. Then, there was the Prisoner of Azkaban. Harry discovered more about his past, and the truth behind who Sirius Black really was. Not a horrid murderer, but his godfather, wrongly accused. The Goblet of Fire was an especially trying time for the trio, because therein Harry’s name was entered into the Goblet by another. Unprepared for the trials he was to face; Harry endured, and went as far as to win the wizard competition! It was a great honour, but more than anything else, a great loss… Someone they all came to look up to, and respect, Cedric Diggory, was killed by Voldemort himself. Harry did his best to inform every one of Voldemort’s return, and his true intentions, but no one believed him. Not until Voldemort was spotted at the Ministry of Magic by none other than the Minister himself and his loyal followers. Both Dumbledore and Harry were vindicated, and yet Harry discovered that he may not live while Voldemort remained alive. One, or the other, must perish. The struggles they faced during the time the Ministry attempted to overthrow Dumbledore were great, but they persevered by banding together. A lot was learned that year, by everyone, thanks to Harry, as he took it upon himself, after convincing from Ron and Hermione, to do his best to teach everyone in private. The loss of Sirius to gain vindication, and discover the prophecy, was more than difficult for Harry. No longer with any family to speak of, more than anything, he needed his friends.
Once Harry found the book of the Half-Blood Prince, things became very confusing. Of course, Harry learned plenty about the kind of person Tom Riddle was. The Horcruxes had to be destroyed in order to destroy Lord Voldemort. The death of Dumbledore, and the beginning of the war, marked the times of the Deathly Hallows. There was far too much loss, and pain, and questioning of why, and how, these nightmarish things could happen. Ron lost a brother, Harry lost more dear friends, as did Hermione. Not only that, but the trio lost a great professor, one of whom had been on their side all along, little did they know: Harry’s true saviour, and secret angel of darkness, Severus Snape. At the same time, there was the discovery of love for both Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ron's sister, Ginny.
Like all wars, and dark times, there was finally an end. After all of the Horcruxes were found and destroyed, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione faced all of their inner demons, Voldemort and Harry could face each other one on one. Harry, as is seen today, was the victor. He could not have done so without the help of all of his friends, especially Neville Longbottom, who fought bravely, and avenged his parents’ death…
Now, peace has been attained at last, and McGonagall is the new headmaster at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With saving the world being the only thing that any of the students could focus on, it was mandatory that the year be repeated. So, therefore, at eighteen years old, Harry is returning for his seventh year at Hogwarts alongside Ron and Hermione. The boy has come to learn a lot about himself, and the world at large. He still has a long way to go.
This… Is where our story begins.

( ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE ) :
{From Vaioa Weyr. Dragonriders of Pern. Character: Wingrider Tieler of brown Sulath.}
All Tieler seemed to be capable of doing was watching the fruit in the girls hand while various expressions passed over her face. Tieler didn’t bother trying to assess them, far too sure that the girls thoughts would present themselves sooner rather than later. If Cassimi had been planning on confusing her by seeming otherwise uninterested, it hadn’t worked. Tieler’s ego was unfortunately too large for most to dissuade. There wasn’t much of a reason for her self confidence even. She’d just never been the shy type. She figured that confidence was where all the fun was at, and for the most part, she was right. Little did she know, her new companion had her pegged.
Okay, so she’d at least gotten a name. She’d know who to ask for about the Weyr, now.
You’re really not planning on taking my advice at all, are you? the brown wondered pointlessly. Tieler let the silence be her answer, and Sulath gave up on his attempts to change his riders mind. There was zero question as to whether or not Tieler wanted to be that fruit. Yes, she really, really, did have a one-tracked mind. She’d go about getting what she wanted by doing things her way, which really just meant being obnoxious and otherwise tactless. Just as she was about to introduce herself in turn, she was pleasantly surprised by the fact that Cassimi already knew her name. Of course, the young woman was acting oh so casual. Tieler was busy being reeled in by Cassimi’s insinuations. The newly-graduated brownrider was far too easy, perhaps that was it. She wasn’t stupid, however. Well, not all the time, least ways.
Gaze flickering to the others lips at the mention of being eager, Tieler cleared her throat and raised a brow inquiringly. ”And you’re not, is that it?” she countered, turning her attention back to the display of food. She grabbed a tuber off of one of the trays nearest her and proceeded to bite off half of it in a very unlady-like manner. Nothing about Tieler was very, shall we say, graceful. She dressed inappropriately, talked inappropriately, and otherwise behaved... inappropriately. She still had a lot to learn, graduating from weyrlinghood meant nothing as far as her dragon was concerned. The brown wasn’t impressed with his rider’s behaviour more often than not.
Tossing the last bit of tuber into her mouth, she kept her eyes from meeting Cassimi's whilst she feigned boredom. She completely missed the once over she’d been given, but could hardly miss when the view of the food table was being blocked. Instead she felt the girl’s side against her own, and she was staring at hip. The words that followed caused her to chuckle, and she rolled her eyes before shaking her head with a gentle, yet, reprimanding sound. ”Hey, I’m flattered that you seem to be so entranced with watching me from afar, but you sure do talk a lot, don’t you? Not one for getting to the point, are we?” she teased, tempted to poke the other in the ribs childishly. Keeping herself from doing so, hands remaining behind her, she instead examined the girls face before saying more. She was pretty, she’d give her that. She was a looker; anyone with a pair of eyes could see that. Even if she was just Tieler’s taste, either way, the redhead hardly cared. Moving so that her side gently collided further with her very opinionated acquaintance, Tieler sighed, clearly not impressed with Cassimi’s final decision. Clearing her throat for the second-time, she shifted her weight to her left leg so that she could lean in closer to the girl in order to lower her voice. The other girl’s warm tones and quiet speaking level had not gone amiss. Oh no, on the contrary. Tieler was paying careful attention. ”So you’re not the type to jump in headfirst, though you’re not necessarily against a challenge. You like to know what you’re getting yourself into before getting your hands dirty. Though, if you ask me, there’s pro’s and con’s to that way of thinking. So how am I doing so far?” She didn’t lean back again, not seeming to be bothered by the close proximity. If Cassimi decided to shift away, so be it, she wasn’t about to.
Cassimi went on to list off more things about the redhead that she’d noticed, and as per usual Tieler found herself chuckling. ”Goodness, you really do like your precise lists, don’t you? But, for arguments sake, let’s just say you’re right. Oh, no worries, I wasn’t about to take any of the conclusions you’ve come to as an insult. Why worry over something when its truth, no, see, I’m too busy enjoying myself to waste my time on self improvement. I mean, really, there’s plenty of time for that when I’m dead.” A mischievous smirk twitched at the corner of her lips. Shrugging a shoulder nonchalantly she looked about the room herself, ”I guess you’ll find out if I keep good on my word, now won’t you?” she muttered, half to herself, half to Cassimi.
Beginning to wonder if the other was just toying with her, she snorted at seeing she was being checked-out. ”Like what you-,” she broke off mid-sentence, flicking her gaze from Bryn-the garnetrider-to Cassimi’s extended arm. The girl’s fingers moving the hair back from her face was unexpected, not to mention her touch was perceived as gentle. ”So, are you trying to suggest you’re older than me?” she asked, trying to distract the girl from the obvious display of emotion written all over her face. It was rare that Tieler was an open book, but here, now, she seemed to be. The other girls question had gone right over her head when she’d asked if she’d missed anything, and therefore, her question would remain unanswered.
Sulath had hardly expected the attention Tieler was being given to bear such a lovely green, come to his ledge. Most certainly. There is little to worry about, however. I fear that Mine manages to offend others far more easily than she herself gets offended. I am certainly not offended, and would like to apologize in turn for my rider’s foolishness. She is still young, I’m certain that she will undergo much change. How are you this fine day? I’m Sulath and if you don’t already know, the blatant girl is my rider, Tieler. I don't believe we've met, and for that I must also apologize. The brown moved to make room for the green, hoping to keep her company for the remainder of the gathering.
”How’s the wine?” Tieler asked out of the blue, hardly as innocent as she attempted to make herself sound. As tense as a weyrling on their first day of flight, Tieler attempted to keep her cool on the outside, not wanting to be more transparent than she already felt. Cassimi could think what she liked, all talk aside, Tieler wasn't about to lay all her cards down.
